McMillen Awarded $35,000 For Prom Incident

Well good ole Constance McMillen is in the news again, and its not because she is the grand marshall for any pride parade. Its because she won her lawsuit against her school district for them canceling the Senior Prom instead of allowing her to bring her girlfriend.

Constance McMillen with the assistance of the ACLU was rewarded $35,000 and attorney fees. Of course the school claims to still have done nothing wrong. OF COURSE They would say that.

Another thing though is that the AFA is saying that the school was shook down by the evil gay activists. You know what I have to say to that? I cant write it here LOL ...

Congrats to Constance due to her standing up for herself, she is making things better for present and future LGBT people.

Sheilas Drag Review of the Star Dust Hotel Show in Moline Illinois

I have been watching drag shows now for quite a few many years. I do not want to say exactly then you will all know my true age. A lady never reveals that...

I have seen bad shows, good shows, and shows that will just knock your knickers in a bunch. The kind of shows that have so much talent and energy that anybody would love to see again and again. Of course last night was not one of them. However I will say this, I really did like the show and venue. I rate it 3 stars for a definitely must support.

You will be entertained when visiting Alternative Night at the The Old Star Dust Motel bar every Thursday night with Drag Shows being preformed starting at 10pm, 11pm, and Midnight.

When you first walk in you have to go down a couple of sets of stairs. The carpet is your typical old hotel carpet that has no taste what so ever. You will stair up at the security camera and notice the co webs in the corner are a permanent fixture. As you reach the door you hear clear music and the laughter of a crowd. You are then greeted by a butch cute lesbian at the door who will check your Id and take your small 2.00 cover charge. Well worth it people trust me. You will then walk into the bar area where you will see 2 pool tables, white bright lights and off to the left down a small set of stairs you will see the romantic lightning and a bar that when you stand up to it the bar tender can look right at your crotch and maybe up some girls dresses... Drinks are cheap and they have 1.00 jello shot specials. This place really reminded me of my favorite bar back in Sioux Falls.

The crowd was a large mix of straight hotel guests, with about 10 LGBT Community people, and that is also counting the performers. Watching how the straight crowd was really involved in the drag shows was amazing! These girls are bringing the art of Drag to a larger audience and exposing people to this wonderful form of entertainment. The show was good, and the talent was remarkable. However, begging for an extra dollar like Ms Diva Paris did with me, is very inappropriate. I was not very impressed with the acrobat style of her performance at all. That's just my opinion.

The rest of the show after the rocky start was amazing with cute Ashleigh London, and the remarkable hot salsa style of Miss Lady Rage, and the elegance and charm of Dominique Zaire. It has been ears since I have seen Dominique perform and she still has it, and for Miss Lady Rage all i can say is grrrr baby... You r still one hot chica! Love your style.

I recommend that if your not doing anything on Thursday nights then head down to the Star Dust Hotel on Thursday nights and have a good time.

Just a FYI surrounding the controversy of the music equipment, I felt it was a expensive investment and sounded very well, with no skips. And you wonder why I rated it 3 stars even though I had fun? Well one of the girls didnt know the words to her song.

Fox Bring Back Wanda Sykes Show

I dont know if most of my readers know this or not, but I am a big Wanda Sykes fan! I just love her work, and find her very entertaining and very straight forward. Even when Wanda is not preforming shes still no hold barred on how she feels.

The Wanda Sykes show on FOX was the best. There are not too many tv shows out there that I would watch. I keep flipping through the channels and can never find anything. When I came across Wanda on her show on FOX i was surprised. I loved the show, and could not beilieve that i was watching something on the FOX network.

If you visit the show site on fox you will a chat forum under community. There are tons of fans asking for FOX to bring Wanda back for a 2nd season. I am in agreement with them 100 percent. There is however one post on there saying they want Wanda to stay away from politics. I SAY WHAT??

Derlowemann which is the guys screen name on the chat forum says it would be nice that Wanda would not comment on politics because of her stance for Obama. This guy goes on and says that Obama is responsible for the bail outs, after saying that Wanda needs to see what Congress is doing under Obama's administration. OK NEWS FLASH Derlowemann it was Bush who started bailing out banks and insurance companies. NOT Obama! Also you were unemployed since 2008? Well Obama was elected in 2008 but didnt take office until 2009.. The reason your out of a job now is because you are like the many out there thinking they are too good to work for min wage, or hell even 10 bucks an hour. For one your not working for 2 years going on 3? Then you must of had one big ass savings account to be living and watching tv and not working at all. I think you need to get your facts straight! OK!!

As for FOX network, bring back Wanda.. That is the only reason I watch your network.

AMTRAK Wants Gay Money

Well all of you know what AMTRAK is? Right? The passenger rail train that our goverment owns. The same goverment that will not give us all of our civil rights but they will be glad to take our money.

I have seen so many orginizations out there that stand against Gay Marriage, or against Gay Adoption but lets market to the gays. THEY GOT MONEY! Damn right the LGBT Community makes up for over billions in retail, and food sales across America.

What i have to say is that us as the LGBT Community comes across any of these business's who have ties with anti gay orginizations, should be boycotted by the LGBT Community. Your just going to make them stronger. Remember the all might dollar is what runs America now.

Arizona Gay Chamber of Commerce Cares About Money Not Human Rights

I stumbled across an article tonight, and basically came to a conclusion. If the Arizona Chamber of Gays and Lesbians commerce would rather much have gay rights groups end a boycott over an immigration law because its hurting business.

Only in America is the mighty dollar more important then civil rights. And there are too many lazy people out there that really do not give a damn. What is happening to our country?

Remembering Michael Jackson 1 Year Later

Today marks the 1 year anniversary of the King of Pop Michael Jackson's death. Lot of people will probably make the comments about his controversial life, but his true fans like me will remember the artist who we grew up listening too. Right now I am sitting here remembering Michael Jackson by listening to Billy Jean, and remembering back when I was around 7 or 8 skating to this song for the first time.

People have focused so much on allegation propaganda on Micheal's life and do not stop to think about how he was the best music artist of our time.

The Moon Walk, Thriller, Bad, just a few things that come to mind right now when I think of Michael Jackson. The red leather jacket, the glove and the soda pop commercials. The flashy costumes, and perfectly executed dance moves. Michael was an entertainer for entertainers. If memory serves me correct that it hasn't happened, or it recently happens that no one and i mean no one has sold the combine record sales of Michael Jackson.

I really do think that even his worse critics will remember the good as well, and will never admit it, but he was truly an awesome talented person. So lets remember the King of Pop for what made us fall in love with him, and not what society has done to him. How would your life be if you were constantly in the public eye? Sometimes I think we hurt celebrities so much with our lust to be around them, wanting to know what the eat, what there doing at any given moment. You tell me how would your life be if you were under so much scrutiny?

Lets remember the music, the dance, the energy, the good hear ted and giving King of Pop! Michael Jackson! We will always miss you!

I stumbled across an article tonight on Twitter and the article was written back in Feb of this year. I do not know how I missed this one, but I did until now.

Patrick Strudwick decided to do some of his own investigating after hearing about a report that was released by University College of London Professor Michael King, stating that one out of six UK Psychiatrists have sought to reduce or change paitents sexual orientation. Despite the fact that these kind of treatments have been proven damaging and ineffective.

The way Patrick decided to investigate it was to submit himself to the conversion therapy to find out what its all about. Its a very good piece and I recommend that you all read it by clicking here

It will never seem to amaze me as I read others thoughts and views on this kind of therapy that people still think that you can reprogram a person? I mean come on! Does it look like we have a small button that you hit with a paper clip so some radical can brain wash us? Gay Conversion Therapy is just that! Its brain washing and has no proven facts that it does work. Most conversion therapy's go back to the bible when they are dealing with their paitents, so this just tells me that the churches are more involved and wanting to change people then the science it self. Its because its normal if you are gay, to be gay. There is nobody that can tell you otherwise.

Most Inappropriate Mom Ever (Stupid People SHouldnt be allowed to Reproduce)

I seen this video and was totally knocked off my chair.. This woman seriously needs to be arrested and put in jail for being STUPID!

This goes back to the old saying, that Ugly people shouldnt be allowed to breed? Well Stupid people shouldnt be allowed to breed either. What has happened to our country? We allowed stupid people to reproduce, thats what has happened to our country.

This woman needs hit up side the head and asked what the hell is her problem? I mean come on shes dancing like a damn fool, and then starts thrusting to one of her baby boys heads, why her other young son is putting money down her nasty drawers. Not only does this woman do this, but she video taped it for the world to see how dumb she is, and the importance of birth control.

I will not put this disgusting video on my website.. All I will say is go to the Huffington Post and search for The Most Inappropriate Mom Ever! You will see why I feel that straight people should have to take an IQ test before they have kids, and if you dont pass the test and you get pregnant, then you have to eat your new born child on day one! When will we wake up and not let morons like this ruin our world.

Hardee's Love it But DAMN ITS PRICEY!

Me and Penlope Putang went down to the west end of Davenport tonight to visit some old friends. Well we were going to go to Hyvee and get some mushrooms to deep fry for dinner, but since it was so late we decided to go to Hardee's.

Well we pulled up and ordered 2 Monster Burger Sandwinches and One large frie. The lady behind the window said it would be $15.67, please pull around. Well for that price Sheila pulled around alright and drove straight out of the parking lot onto Locust street and went to Wendy's.

Thank god for the red head fast food stores. I mean Wendy she has red hair and has a value menu, and old Ronald Mcdonald has read hair and he has a dollar menu.

I wonder who long Hardee's thinks it can keep over charging for processed beef? Some of you are out there saying but its angus meat. ITS PROCESSED ANGUS! DUH!

Well I do love Hardee's but with those kind of prices I will just stick to their breakfast menu.

Rock Island Police Finally Investigating Teen Hate Crime

Apparently Rock Island Illinois Police do not know a difference between a hate crime or a battery. Maybe they do know the difference but are too homophobic to deal with a real hate crime against a gay teen. Watch this video and you tell me how do you think this officer really felt about this situation. I mean it looks to me like he wanted to crack up laughing when he was being interviewed by Chris Minor of WQAD Television. See the video by visiting WQAD.COM

For those of you that havent heard this story, on May 28 a 17 year old gay male was ambushed in a park in Rock Island Illinois by numerous teens and beaten with nerf baseball bats, why they called him Fagot. They later posted the video on You Tube with key words and tags, such as gay and fagot in the search for this video. However the Rock Island police do not know whether to call this a normal battery or a hate crime.

I am totally disgusted to think that one of the Quad City police departments does not know a difference between battery and a hate crime. Also for these kids to commit such a terrible act is very sickening. Mason Steiner is a student at Rock Island High School and one of his attackers is believed to be a student there as well.

Show your support to Mason Steiner and tell the Rock Island Police that this is a hate crime and they need to treat it as well, by getting this story out to the masses. The public needs to be aware of this situation.

We cant be just happy that Obama signed into law a new Hate Crimes bill if our local authorities are not going to enforce it.
