Does Organized Religion Want To Rule The World?

I am not writing this to you right now as just a LGBT cause but a cause that needs to be addressed by everybody not just gay, black, white etc. With many different things that have happened over the years it is seeming that its not just President Obama wanting to rule the world, but Organized Religion seems that they believe that they already do.

I remember a conversation that I had with my dear late friend Rev. Brett Harris during the time Maine was having there vote for Gay Marriage. He mentioned that the Catholic governing body there spent 4 million dollars on tv ads against gay marriage and to encourage people to go and vote against it. His question was I wonder how many hungry mouths that could of fed? We should ask the governing body of the Catholic order in Main. In fact if you look at other religious groups not just the Catholics, you would most likely notice a lot of wasteful spending. So with that in mind why not audit these groups and lets start with the Catholic Church as whole by auditing the Vaticans books.

Not only does Organized Religion want to have large amounts of money for their political cause, and to have a control of power over our governments but the leaders of these groups are also very wealthy. One thing I do remember in most of my religious teachings and studies is that a priest usually takes a vow of proverty? I guess its just words, and not meant to be enforced. Lets take Pat Roberts for example. How big is his house? Who paid for it?

Wait! They also have a bigger clout over people then you know or maybe you already do, but what can you say ? I mean they are the ones that talk to God on a daily basis and there doing God's work? Right? They are very good at brain washing their followers and God's beilievers. They like to say this is God's will to full fill their own POLITICAL/SOCIAL Agenda.

Its happening all over the world. Some are very blind to see this, but I say its time to speak out against this kind of organization. If we dont they will continue to brain wash people in God's name. Not only should you want to join this fight because maybe your a beiliever of God, or your not, but you understand that this kind of treatment against any human is just not right.

Join in this fight by educating others and speaking out against your church if you know there doing wrong.

Catholic Church Gone Too Far over DC Gay Marriage

Before I write any more, I want to say I have a lot of Catholic friends, and I am not anti Catholic. I am anti any kind of religion that thinks there damn God!

The Catholic Archdiocese of Washington DC claims they will stop all Social Services in DC in dispute over the new Gay Marriage Law. Not only did the jackasses threaten it, but they have already stopped their foster care services. They are leaving innocent less fortunate children with out services! They need to wake up already and get off there high horse. Since when does a religious authority decide to end services to people because of what Law Makers have decided? This is a political matter. This kind of action is so disgusting and IGNORANT that it pisses me off!

The Archdiocese of Washington DC decides that they will discriminate against children of a whole city because of a decision that law makers made. I have done a lot of religious studies and I never seen where God or Jesus discriminated against anybody. They loved everybody the same, even their enemies.

The Catholic Archdiocese of DC takes it another step by not allowing new employees to have health care. So instead of giving people important social services that are well needed, they decide to be political, and take a stance against Gay Marriage which the diocese thinks is more important then supplying well needed services to people.

This goes back to what a good friend of mine Rev. Brett Harris has said to me in a phone conversation last year when the Catholic Church of Main spent 4 MILLION DOLLARS in TV Ads against the Gay Marriage Law in that state. I mean really 4 Million Dollars? How many hungry people went with out why they were advertising on TV? How much money does this church waste of its followers on their own political agenda?

There are a lot of Catholic people in Government that are totally up in arms over this as well. AS THE SHOULD BE!

If these acts from the Archdiocese aren't considered hate and discriminatory, I don't know what the hell is. They should be very ashamed of themselves. If your Catholic and you disagree with what they did, then you should say something to your local church, and stop donating your money to this political party. Because that is what the Catholic church is becoming now a days, a political party.

If the Catholics want to cut off services, then our Government needs to not allow this church to offer them. Take away their tax exempt status, and follow our constitution by not allowing a foreign organization to try to dictate our laws. Remember the Catholic headquarters is in the Vatican in Rome.

Wanda Sykes and Sheila Putang on The Fence about Obama

Just last year we were all in the haze of having a new leader a new President to take over from the ass nine mistakes of President George Bush. The country was all hyped up with the winds of change that were promised in the campaigning of 2008.

The Republicans promising to get back to basics in their party, and the Democrats calling for great reform. Both parties having the right intentions. I like to think so at least, in their hearts. They just never seem to get it right all the time. Well the country went with the winds of change and took up on Presidents Obama's band wagon of YES WE CAN!

Well YES WE CAN has now turned into WHY DIDNT YOU DO IT?

Wanda Sykes on her talk show that is on FOX really cracks me up and I am very surprised that FOX has her show on their network. It just shows that FOX isnt all that bad. Well Wanda started her first episode of her show by shutting out all of Obama's critics that were expecting great change in a year. Well a few weeks later Wanda is not so sure she is 100% on board with Obama's Administration. Wanda on her show asked why dont we have health care reform, why hasn't he ended DADT? Its a complete 360 of her stance in a very short time. Don't worry girl friend because Ms Putang has done the same thing.

I was also 100% on the YES WE CAN train that I really didn't look at the mechanics of how this change was going to happen and what they are actually doing. I mean we have made some great progress with the new Administration on LGBT Rights, but we still have a large amount of basic rights still being taking away from us. I am beginning to think that Obama is just tossing the LGBT Community bones to keep us quiet. We need to turn up the heat on them again.

I just wanted to take the time as Link and I are getting ready to celebrate our love on this special day. I want to wish all of you a very Happy Valentines Day! Even if you do not have a special one this year, do not give up hope in finding him or her. Everybody is meant to have someone.

I know there are a lot of you out there that feel that this holiday is just another way to get people to go out and buy gifts and stimulate the economy, but if you look up the history it can be so much more. So call your friends and wish them a Happy Valentines day and lets just celebrate LOVE in general. This world would be so much better if everybody would just love life and radiate that kind of energy wherever you go.

F.O.B Site Taken Down. Is it an act of being Two Faced?

The F.O.B site www.friendsofbryce.info was taken down sometime this week. I am an official for this organization that was forming to bring awareness and eventually an end to EX Gay Therapies. The reason I joined this cause was hearing the Bryce Faulkner story from various websites that Rev. Brett Harris made. After visiting with Rev Brett Harris numerous times over email and long hours on the phone I was totally disgusted to find out the scary stories of others that have gone through these kind of therapies and have agreed to help Rev. Brett Harris in the cause.

The Friends Of Bryce Movement was picking up steam and bringing a mass awareness not only to the Bryce Faulkner story but to Gay Reparitve therapy as well. Thousands of people were joining the cause and we were getting some where in forming a not for profit organization that would eventually lobby congress to bring legislation to make these kind of clinics accountable for there practices. Rev. Harris formed a great team of devoted friends and allies. Unfortunately I do beilieve that some of his so called friends were not really truthful and did not want to see Rev Continue in his work. Everybody on the group of ministers had a function with F.O.B and everybody fulfilled a purpose. One of the ministers was kept in secret due to his religion and even though I really want to blast out about him I will not say his name in public due to my friendship with Rev. This Minister was a sponsor for the websites espicially the friends of bryce.info site.

Rev. Brett Harris passed away due to heart complication January 1st of 2010. After our beloved founders passing the rest of us decided to keep his work going. The Mormon minister was blasting all kinds of messages to the other members of F.O.B wanting us to get in contact with him. I tried calling him and he would not return my calls. One of our ambassadors made contact with him and he said he was withdrawing but wanted the work to continue. He said he would later contact her with all the login information for the sites. This was never done and he is not returning anybodies calls or emails. Then this week the site was taken down along with our orgs emails.

The first time he made contact to us on Facebook he mentioned that all good things must come to an end. Then he states later on to the Ambassador that he wants Rev's work to continue. Then he dosent call us or provides us with the information that we need to keep the sites going? This is two faced! I truly beilieve that he did not want Rev's work to continue because he was not truthfully behind Rev in his vision.

Is this the end of F.O.B? HELL NO! We have all of the works of Rev. Brett Harris saved, and will rebuild at a later time. There will still be a voice carried out against these kinds of acts, and as for the so called friend "The Mormon Minister" all I have to say is thank you for showing us your true colors. Your a liar and a fake in my eyes and probably in others. If you think by shutting down the site that it will stop, or if any of our opponents think that since Rev. Harris passing and the site is down that his work will stop. You are totally wrong! It will resurface and it will continue.

Just like anything that has died down, it does get reborn and most of the time comes back bigger then ever.

Lt. Dan Choi Returns to Guard Drills

Here are the signs that DADT is weakening due to pressure from LGBT groups, the White House and some top Millitary Leaders. Lt. Dan Choi who is facing discharge from the New York National guard for coming out publicly as a gay male, was allowed to join guard drills with his unit last weekend.

In a telephone interview on Thursday, Lieutenant Choi said that his commander was “totally supportive” and had asked him to participate in a weekend drill with his unit, the First Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment, in Fort Indiantown Gap, Pa., near Harrisburg. The unit is facing possible deployment to Afghanistan in 2012.

Lt. Dan Choi has become the poster child for DADT since he came out in April of last year and was never officially discharged yet, but was not allowed to serve during drills. A suspension so to speak. Since then Choi has been actively campaigning to end DADT and bringing more awareness to the national level by doing so. One of the other commanders in the unit would not comment but a spokeswoman for the New York Guard said that Lt. Choi will continue to participate in Guard drills until he is discharged, if that even happens.

This really does my heart proud... Maybe Obama is finally going to keep his word on DADT and bring it to an end.

Michigan Law Maker for Values Transgendered And Drivers Licenses

Now if this is not ignorant I do not know what is. To see future Law Makers attacking LGBT in order to win an election. Well I got news for you, I really don't think it will help.

A state lawmaker, running for the GOP nomination to be the next Secretary of State in Michigan, is wasting no time addressing the real issues facing Michigan — stopping transgender people from changing their sex on their drivers license.Now this is a issue that really needs addressed. I am so glad that Michigan has such a young aggressive man that is out there to fix the major issues that effect the Michigan public. This man needs to seriously wake up. How in the hell does he think this will help him win the nomination for the GOP in the Secertary of State Race?

Here is a Direct quote from Paul Scott. “I will make it a priority to ensure transgender individuals will not be allowed to change the sex on their driver’s license in any circumstance.”

His main reasoning for this, is to keep people who are gentically males from dressing up as woman from going into woman restrooms. I think the people of Michigan would rest more safely knowing hes on bathroom patrol.

Will there be an End to DADT

At this rate we should see an end to DADT in about ohh several years. Congress wants to keep doing more studies that prove that ending DADT will not hurt our military even though the Sec General of the Army said it will not. Not to mention these studies have already been done. This is what we get for having Congress take the lead. Obama gave us another empty promise and it really looks like I will not be supporting him in his campaign bid for 2012.

Here is some information that was released by the Associated Press:

The Defense Department starts the clock next week on what is expected to be a several-year process in lifting its ban on gays from serving openly in the military.

A special investigation into how the ban can be repealed without hurting the morale or readiness of the troops was expected to be announced Tuesday by Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

While the review is likely to take the better part of this year to complete, and even more time to implement, its initiation will advance President Barack Obama's goal of repealing the ban and bring a divisive issue for the military back to the fore.

At the White House, officials continued reviewing options to repeal the Clinton-era policy that the president vowed to repeal. The administration still believes that any repeal should start in Congress and have the backing of top military leaders.

From what I have seen this has already received approval from some of our top military leaders. So did the freeze of firing people for DADT stand? Who knows. Obama is letting Congress take this over just like the health care reform bill that has been stalled due to bi partisian bickering. This is a time that we need to keep on our Congress Reps and Senators saying we were not wanting a bone tossed to us but results! Lets keep on them.

I did some research from my last blog post about Westboro church and have decided to look at this website for the first time. I have heard about it, and really just thought of it as a sickening way of recruiting homophobes to their cause, but I am really disturbed as to the other crap that is on this site. Not only does it teach hate! But it also teaches hate against America!

This church really does go overboard by posting such trash on the net for young kids to read. They talk about the word of god and then they spin it around to hate. Well every other scripture that is taught to the world public, dosent say that God hates anything.

This website really opened my eyes to the ignorance that is out there and being taught to our children today. This really sickens me very much... we will talk more on this subject in our upcoming online Radio show this Sunday on Rainbow Straight Talk.
