Well with this being my first Thanksgiving and almost been doing this now for a year coming up in a couple of months. Wow time does fly by when your having fun. All I can say is HELL YES!!!! Equality groups in Alabama organized a protest against the Focus on The Family Conference in Alabama. Focus on The Family conference was for parents that have a child who is gay or lesbian. There slogan for the conference is love won out. Well love is winning out as LGBT activist are protesting more and more of these conferences. I almost fell out of my chair laughing about this one. This is such a dumb mistake that it reminded me of George W Bush because he is from there... Let me regain my composure. Texas accidentally passed a law that banned all marriage in the state! They were writing the law that would ban gay marriage and then included language that would ban all marriages! Well as most of you know and have been hearing was that Levi Johnston who is the father of Sarah Palins Grand kid was going to do a photo shoot for Play Girl. Well he did it!!!! He just got done shooting the photo spread this last Thursday and he handled it like a champ from what I was reading on some of the other articles on this. We have been protesting, marching, and lobbying our congress people, and from what we are hearing from Rep. Barney Franks DADT is slated to be in the topic of the Department of Defense bill slated for 2010. Apparently anytime a Military change in policy is discussed its included in a overhaul defense bill. As most of you know there is a bill going through the senate right now on wording and getting approval for main vote. The house of representatives are scheduled to do their own hearings in a few weeks. It comes to a shock to me that I don't see that many equality groups switching the fight from Gay Marriage to rallying support for ENDA. The only group that even touched based on it, is the HRC. The house yesterday passed the Democrat health care bill with a very narrow margin. I totally agree that we need health care reform, but do we do it at the cost of our economy and health? This health care bill that the Democrats are trying to pass through into law by the end of the year is going to cause more states to either go bankrupt, cut services, and raise taxes. As all of you know by now Maine had their election last night and voted to put a clause to their marriage law that banns gay marriages. I know this is a sad state of affairs to loose this state in our cause but we must not give up hope. Hate Crimes
As clergy, we must speak out against despicable acts such as this. As clergy, we must condemn our fellow clergy who preach hate that leads to this. As clergy, we must demand passage of a federal hate crimes law that will prevent acts such as this and provide a means to prosecute such horrendous acts.

I was the first born to Jewish parents. My earliest religious experiences were my bris (The Jewish religious rite of circumcision at eight days of age) and being redeemed by my father (Redemption of the First Born). A baggage agent for Sky West is saying that the airline is breaking California state law that enforces companies to give the same rights as Straight couples to same sex couples. He is claiming that the company wont allow his husband the free air fares that are allowed to Straight Couples. Gilbert Caldwell married David Farell in 2008. OH WOW!!! This is great news for some, but this dosen't mean that we have seen the last of Dr. Dobson. Dr. Dobson announced that he is leaving the ministry Focus On The Family. The ministry said it was a mutual decision between them and Dobson for him to leave. Unfortunately Dobson does not plan on going into retirement quietly. Well in case some of you haven't heard Rush Limbaugh is leaving New York. The people of New York are fed up with him, and he says the reason hes leaving is because the Governor of New York keeps getting him with secret tax increases. COME ON RUSH!!
