Well good ole Constance McMillen is in the news again, and its not because she is the grand marshall for any pride parade. Its because she won her lawsuit against her school district for them canceling the Senior Prom instead of allowing her to bring her girlfriend.
Constance McMillen with the assistance of the ACLU was rewarded $35,000 and attorney fees. Of course the school claims to still have done nothing wrong. OF COURSE They would say that.
Well all of you know what AMTRAK is? Right? The passenger rail train that our goverment owns. The same goverment that will not give us all of our civil rights but they will be glad to take our money.
I have seen so many orginizations out there that stand against Gay Marriage, or against Gay Adoption but lets market to the gays. THEY GOT MONEY! Damn right the LGBT Community makes up for over billions in retail, and food sales across America.
I stumbled across an article tonight, and basically came to a conclusion. If the Arizona Chamber of Gays and Lesbians commerce would rather much have gay rights groups end a boycott over an immigration law because its hurting business.

13 Chicago Activists were arrested May 20 after doing a sit in at Senator's Dick Durbins Office IL. The activist were wanting the senator to sign the pledge that he would support ENDA. The people working the office said it was impossible for the activists to sepak with Durbin.
When the Activists said they were not leaving and were going to sit in his office until he signed the pledge the people at Senators Durbin office called Federal Authorities to remove them. They were arressted.

Lesbian Student Ceara Sturgis has been wiped clean of her high school's year book. YUP she has been battling her school for years, but never thought it would come to this. She wore a tux for her senior portrait and the school denied it. They didn't even print her name.

I have been reading lots of articles on this subject because of the first one that I read was horrifying and I do feel that it needs more public attention.
One of the articles that I read talked about a transgendered male that was sentence to prison and was put in a male prison because there are no laws that recognize transgendered for the sex that they want to be. So when a transgendered person gets put into a male prison they have 3 options.

Congress wants to keep doing more studies that prove that ending DADT will not hurt our military even though the Sec General of the Army said it will not. Well 2009 has had some ups and downs for me and the whole Putang family. 2010 did not start with bells and whistles. 2010 started with the LGBT World Community loosing a great voice and activist. My dear Friend Rev. Brett Harris founder of Ergonomical Ministries and Friends of B.R.Y.C.E. passed on to the heavens January 1st 2010. He will be greatly missed, and he can rest peacefully knowing the team he formed with FOB is working to continue his work.

I recently had the wonderful privilege to participate on a very distinguished panel of clergy that discussed the issue of sexual orientation and scripture. One of the audience members asked a question that attempted to link the ban in Leviticus on homosexuality to the ban in Leviticus on bestiality. Several panel members addressed this question. Then the audience member asked it again, which I take as unwillingness to listen or to accept the pro-gay explanation that was offered.

Focus on The Family conference was for parents that have a child who is gay or lesbian. There slogan for the conference is love won out.
