This is the email that I sent to the Tangipahoa Parish through their website in New Orleans Lousianna. This is concerning Justice of the Peace Keith Bardwell not marrying an inner racial couple due to his own personal beilefs. 

 I see on your website that you advertise that your More then a great place to live. Well after reading in the news I would definately beg a differ on that one. Justice of the Peace Keith Bardwell refused to issue a signed marriage license to an interracial couple. Does he realize that there are no laws against this? Where does he get the right to decide who gets married? Espically since the laws say that only a man and woman can marry. This couple fits that bill. Equality groups all over America are up in arms over this and every right we should be. We demand that there is disicplinary action taken against this Justice for being a racist. I also noticed that on your website that you just received some housing money?? Hmm well once the Federal Goverment finds out how you allow your Justice of the Peace to refuse a couple their marriage license based on their race! That money will quickly go away. This is disgusting to see this happening in our country and most disgusting to see it happen in the State of Louisanna. There should be public apologies made immediately!
