Gays setting The Record Straight Sheila Putang and Friends

I have been reading lots of articles on this subject because of the first one that I read was horrifying and I do feel that it needs more public attention.

One of the articles that I read talked about a transgendered male that was sentence to prison and was put in a male prison because there are no laws that recognize transgendered for the sex that they want to be. So when a transgendered person gets put into a male prison they have 3 options.

1. Be who they are and most likely get the shit kicked out of them and raped
2. Cause so many problems with the guards and get put in Confinement (which from most stories that is what they do)
3. Surround your self with a gang, and in exchange for protection they agree to hold contraband, cook, do laundry, clean cells, and lie down and let them have their way with them.

This is a horrific thing that happens in our prison system. Now prison rape is common in most prisons but in the Top 10 prisons where rape and sexual attacks are most rampant, guess where the top 5 are? TEXAS! That's right more sexual crimes are committed in Texas prisons then any where else in the United States. Well this really comes to no surprise to me.

I mean really Texas seems to have its own laws.

Prison rape is more common with LGBT people then straight people, and the authorities who control these prisons said it would cost too much to investigate and solve the epidemic. This is complete bull crap if you ask me. Its not just a rising problem but it is a epidemic. I can't even think that the people who are there to protect and guard the prisoners are allowing this to happen.

Well its not only Wall Street that needs a overhaul. Our prison system seriously needs one too. Its horrible.
