Well all I can say its about damn time. We have waited for years to get something like this into law, and it was passed in the Senate last week. There have been speculation that this bill would get passed last month, but it sat in the Senate during that time waiting on a vote. Now that the new bill has been through the proper channels its all set and going to sit on Obama's desk until wed, and this is still a speculation if he will sign it this wed. Obama has promised to sing the legislation into law. 

The Matthew Sheppard Act will make our current Federal Hate Crime law even more broader to cover all of the LGBT Community.  GLORY GLORY!!!!! WE FINALLY DID IT!!! But there are more fights on the horizon for us, but take great pride for this major accomplishment.
