If you haven't heard this story its about time you did. Has American Society went to hell in a hand basket? I mean really the violence in our schools today is just disgusting! I see a lot of comments about putting the blame on Teachers and School Administrators, they are at fault but there not the total blame. What about the freaking Parents?

Well this story truly broke my heart when I was told about it by Baby Putang AKA Megan Bunger my co host in Gays Setting The Record Straight Online Radio show. We were talking about topics for the upcoming episode and she mentioned Phobe Prince to me. So I was doing some research for the show and decided I was going to blog about it as well. This story needs public attention so prevention can start being instituted.

Phobe Prince was a 15 year old girl from Ireland who moved to the United States in 2009. Phobe has had problems with bullies back in Ireland and the school was notified this by a family member before she was enrolled in school. Phobe was attending South Hadley High School at the time of her death January of 2010. Yes her death. She was being bullied by at least 2 separate groups at school one group including girls who were responding to her brief relationship with a high school foot ball star, and a 2nd male student.

Finally on January 14th after a full day of taunting and bullying that was met later on with a kid throwing a pop can at her from a passing car, Phoebe Prince ended her life by hanging. Her death was discovered by her 12 year old sister.

OK!! I broke down crying reading this. It just makes me keep asking the same question as to how society said we can not discipline our children by spanking. If you go back to all the cases of violence and seen how society was getting scared because of child abuse that they took away the tools to raise your children to do right! Now I know I will get a lot of flack about this, but read the story of Phoebe Prince. Why is school bullying on the rise? Havent you heard some of those brats at the store telling their parents to F OFF!  Kid needs back handed, because that is what happened to Sheilai if she shown disrespect.  BUT there are still other ways to raise your children and teach them from right and wrong, unfortunately we have some inbreeding in our country and the parents of these kids, are egging them on to be bullies at school because of their low self esteem and there need to hurt people. WELL WAKE UP it needs to STOP!

We need to really get after dead beat parents that teach their kids hate! This is the first step to make sure that things like what happened to Phoebe Prince will happen to any other child.
