As clergy, we must speak out against despicable acts such as this. As clergy, we must condemn our fellow clergy who preach hate that leads to this. As clergy, we must demand passage of a federal hate crimes law that will prevent acts such as this and provide a means to prosecute such horrendous acts.

Its Finally Here... New Hate Crimes Bill is now Law

After 10 years of hard debate, and from the first time Judy Sheppard called on Congress to create such a law to protect the LGBT Community against hate crimes, the day we all been waiting for was here today! President Obama signed it into law. This is definately a day that we should all remember and hold dear to our hearts. This is the first Federally passed law for the LGBT Community.

Another March On Washington

LGBT and our allies are marching again on the White House on Wed, which is the day President Obama is suppose to sign into law the new Hate Crimes Bill known as the Matthew Sheppard and James Byrd JR. Hate Crimes Act.
