Chicago Activists Arrested for Demanding Rights

13 Chicago Activists were arrested May 20 after doing a sit in at Senator's Dick Durbins Office IL. The activist were wanting the senator to sign the pledge that he would support ENDA. The people working the office said it was impossible for the activists to sepak with Durbin.

When the Activists said they were not leaving and were going to sit in his office until he signed the pledge the people at Senators Durbin office called Federal Authorities to remove them. They were arressted.

Mcdonalds Denies Transgendered Teen a Job By Christa HIlfers Putang

Seventeen-year-old Zikerria Bellamy a transgendered woman was denied a job at a Orlando McDonald's and told "we do not hire faggots," This is not the first time this has happened. Almost every day in the United States a Transsexual person is turned down from a job, housing and many other things people often take for granted only because we were born into the wrong bodies. Equality Groups and Support for ENDA

As most of you know there is a bill going through the senate right now on wording and getting approval for main vote. The house of representatives are scheduled to do their own hearings in a few weeks. It comes to a shock to me that I don't see that many equality groups switching the fight from Gay Marriage to rallying support for ENDA. The only group that even touched based on it, is the HRC.
